specialists who possess skills in the following
specialties:
- Tour
Guides/Leaders (Bicycle, Canoe, Kayak and Hiking, Eco-Touring)
- Assistant
Tour Guides (Bicycle, Canoe, Kayak and
Hiking, Eco-Touring)
- Bicycle Mechanic's with SAG
experience.
- Naturalists with experience in any of
the above.
- Business Services (travel &
administrative services)

Tour
Leader – Bicycle – Wilderness Canoe
Rolling Roads is always eager to speak with adventure vacation
professionals who have experience in managing active outdoor vacation
trips regardless of your location. If you meet the requirements below
we invite you to submit your resume.
Note: If you don’t
meet the qualifications of a Tour Leader we encourage you to apply for
a position as an Assistant Tour Leader.
Currently Rolling Roads is
looking for tour leaders located near the following locations to lead
2007 trips;
- Northern California - Bicycle
- Portland-Seattle - Bicycle
- Central Midwest - Bicycle
- Upper
Midwest - Wilderness Canoe (Assistant Tour guide slots may also be
available)
| Position Requirements –
Cycling Tour Leader |
Preferred Qualifications
– Cycling Tour Leader |
- At least 3 years experience
leading Bicycle tours.
- Possess a wide range of outdoor skills and knowledge
- Must enjoy meeting and working
with new people.
- A Spotless driving record
- Detail oriented
- Willing to travel extensively
(regionally)

- 3 Years experience leading
multi-sport vacations including Canoe/Kayak and Hiking tours.
- First hand knowledge of local
roads, culture, fauna, flora and food for a specific tour.
- CPR – First Aid
certification
- Expert camping skills
- Experience in conflict
resolution
- Willing to travel extensively

| Position
Requirements – Wilderness Canoe Trip Leader |
- At least 3 years experience
leading Canoe/Kayak trips
- At least one year (minimum of 3
trips) leading Canoe trips in the BWCA or aa similar environment
(remote wilderness, no external support.)
- Wilderness First Aid
certification
- Must be able to swim
- Exceptional camping skills
- Detail Oriented
- Possess a wide range of outdoor
skills and knowledge.
- Must enjoy meeting and working
with new people.
- A Spotless driving record.
- Willing to travel extensively

Assistant Tour Leader
– with mechanical experience
Are you
an Assistant Tour Leader and/or SAG driver experienced in minor bicycle
repairs? Do you have a clean driving record? Do you like meeting new
people and going to great places? Trust us, you’ll be doing a
lot more than just driving a van and changing flats! And for those with
drive and motivation there’s no better way to earn a spot as
a Tour Leader than by working for us as an Assistant Tour Leader.
Currently Rolling Roads is looking for Assistant Tour Leaders with SAG
and mechanical experience living near the following locations;
- Northern California - Bicycle
- Portland-Seattle - Bicycle
- Central Midwest - Bicycle

- Experienced cyclist
- Experience making minor bicycle
repairs
- Possess outdoor skills and
knowledge.
- Must enjoy meeting and working

- 1 year experience
as Assistant Tour Leader on multi-sport vacations including
Canoe/Kayak and Hiking tours.
- Experience working as a bicycle
mechanic for a reputable shop
- First hand knowledge of local
roads, culture, fauna, flora and food for a specific tour.
- CPR – First Aid
certification
- Expert camping skills
- Willing to travel extensively
